ab123ga 16 Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Not sure where to start researching this but previously I had over 300 movie collections. I was just scrolling through my media and noticed that I'm down to 171 collections. It is going to be hard to figure out which is lost but I also noticed that collections I used to have with with a number of movies within the a specific collection have most of the movies removed. An example of this is I have 4 of the Underworld series with one of them also including a 3d version. I should have 5 movies in that collection. Now I only have 1 movie in that collection. I checked the links for all of the movies and only 1 of the movies have the TheMovieDb Collection value in place. This is why the collection only has 1 movie now. If I lost this value on many other movies this may be why I lost so many collections. Is there a way re-scan all of the movies to see if the TheMoviedb collection value gets re-added?
ebr 16187 Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 First, make sure you update the Auto Box Sets plug in for the new beta server. Next, you should be able to run a refresh at a top level on your movies and they all should come back.
ab123ga 16 Posted October 23, 2015 Author Posted October 23, 2015 I uninstalled autobox and re-added and that did nothing. After doing some more digging I noticed that the collection ID fell off of many of my movies. For the Underworld series I have 5 movies (4 2D and 1 3D) and the collection ID is on 1 movie. Arthur and the Invisibles collection: I have 3 movies and none of them have the collection ID. After doing some digging I decided to search for movie.xml files to see if any were updated. I found that on Oct 20th in the morning I had 88 changes on one drive alone. I have 5 drives and the number is in the same range for all. All of the movie.xml files modified seem to be movies that were a part of a collection. All of these changes occurred around 11 Est. Coincidently, I had an issue with 1 of my share drives (movies unavailable) and needed to re-add it also on October 20th. I fixed the library link and all of those movies were back within minutes. Again this was only 1 of my 5 drives. I don't know how/if the 2 could be linked...but I dunno. Log that surrounded the time where the changes seems to have occurred. https://app.box.com/s/t1sie9fwru6zg7xp0w90ea9zs3at8ns4 Bottom line is the collection ID fell off of hundreds of my movies and I would love a way to get them back on.
Solution Abobader 3469 Posted October 24, 2015 Solution Posted October 24, 2015 Good day, As Ebr said, after installing the latest dev build of auto boxset plugin (1.0.0.9), go to the top level your library movies and others you have collection parts in it, as example: When it done, run the refresh box set from the plugin settings It may not solve all the issue, as I am having at the moment, but at least way better than before. My best 2
Abobader 3469 Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Based on many testing for auto box set, really better to setup the refresh data to all, as: It will take some time tho to completed.
ab123ga 16 Posted October 24, 2015 Author Posted October 24, 2015 I did not catch the "refresh". I did that and it looks like it is catching up. I've increased 60 box sets with just one library. Thanks 1
