Can not remove the Folder in the Home View

hello i have looked 6 times for find the option in  User preferences, and it has been removed in one of the resent updates. can this be fixed

when i go to home on the server there is a folder in the media view its named folders  how can you remove this?

the folder in the orange circle??

Since the option was removed, you will have to manually edit config.xml and change  <DisplayFoldersView>true</DisplayFoldersView> to false.

 

%appdata%\Emby-Server\config\users\"select the userid"\config.xml

 

example when in user setting you see "userId=544bb61533df466cbe33242bc08a1564" in the url.

Sadly, I am still seeing this issue with a "Folders" folder. 

 

However when I go to the config.xml file, there is no entry for <DisplayFoldersView>true</DisplayFoldersView> to set to false.

Perhaps you could edit the file and add it.

 

Make sure you use notepad or another proper text editor.

You don't need to mess with the config file, just go to library - display in the server dashboard
