Is it possible to have Emby Server running if someone isn't logged in?

Hello,

 

The issue is if someone isn't logged in to the box, with Emby Server (3.0.5675.1) running, it will not serve up the videos. I am connecting to Emby Server via IE11 and it just gives the "Page cannot be displayed" error. Is it possible to have Emby Server running if someone isn't logged in to the box? Please let me know.

 

Running on Win 7 Enterprise

Yes, if no one is logged on you need to enable the service.

I just set it to "Automatic", instead of "Automatic (Delayed Start), and that worked perfectly! Thank you so much for your help and quick response.

You will also need to uncheck "Run server at startup" in advance settings if you haven't already

Also, remember that auto updates do not apply when running as a service. You will need to update manually.
