Connection Refused

Installed Emby on top of CentOS 7 and I'm having issues with accessing the web interface. I'm getting nothing but connection refused.

I've tried poking holes in my firewall on the server, notably 8096 udp/tcp. I've also tried completely disabling the firewall on my server, but it's still rejecting my connection. SELinux is also Persmissive.

I honestly can't think of anything else. Any help guys?

Check if Emby is running/listening on the correct ports with netstat command for example. If it does then is highly probable that you need to check again your firewall settings. As an option you can temporaly disable firewalld and try again.

Also you can try disabling Selinux for testing. I had uncontable issues in the past with many different apps and Selinux.

Qell then, I feel like a moron!

Something must not have worked, but I was going along believing that emby was running, when it wasn't! Dunno why, but I guess systemctl enable emby-server and systemctl start emby-server wasn't surviving reboots so it wasn't even running. Got it all figured out now!

Thank you for your immense patience, I truly appreciate it!
