Gamebrowser with MB Classic - no longer working.

Hi,

 

I understand that Gamebrowser is working differently now on MB Classic, and the plug-in configurator for gamebrowser is not available any longer, and the way to add new games is the usual method on the server, and modify the gamesbrowswer.xml on the client.

 

I did this, but the client does not seem to take notice of the gamebroswer.xml under the   C:\ProgramData\MediaBrowser-Classic\Plugins\Configurations.

 

is there anything else i should be doing on the client apart from updating the above xml file??

 

I am running MB Classic ver  3.0.258.0

                    GameBrowser ver 3.0.0.42

Hi,

 

problem solved.

 

There is no problem here, and I was confused because my gamebrowswer.xml had multiple lines for same game..  So, problem solved by removing duplicates...

 

What is important in the gamebrowser.xml is that the name of the game should be a cut and paste from the gamesdb.  otherwise, it will not work.

 

My games are working perfectly now on the windows platform...

The GameBrowser plugin has been updated with a new configuration screen to match the look and feel of the rest of Emby Server. I think you'll find it much more enjoyable to use and configure now.
