Hiding content

Hi all,

 

Bit of a strange request, and if it cannot be done, then no issue at all.

(I searched the forum but didn't come across a similar request)

I am managing a single media server, with 4 other users connecting.

Now, I have all content as below:

Documentary

Ebooks

Movies

Music

TV

Some of the users have asked if they can hide content within those folders.

So for example, if I have 10 TV series, but they have watched every episode of an entire series, they would like to be able to hide the completed series (or maybe a series they know they will never watch) so it can no longer be seen and they can then only view the remaining series that they are still watching/are going to watch.

(I am not talking about just hiding content under the Latest Media view)

I had a quick look on the server and couldn't see anything so just said no for now, which they will accept, I'm just wondering if it is possible.

 

If it makes a difference, I have a mix of clients:

1x Roku (Emby beta channel)

1x Xbox 360 (MBC)

1x PlayStation 3 (DLNA)

4x Android phones (Android App)

1x iPhone (iOS app)

1x iPad (iOS app)

2x desktop pc's (MBT)

1x laptop (web interface)

you can do it with the restriction by tags feature but they cannot do it themselves unless they're admins
