kolbasz 20 Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Not sure where the issue lies, but trakt is syncing a show 4 times and multiple times. For instance, a show I watched last night says I watched it 4 times yesterday and looking today, it appears as though I watched it 4 times again. Not sure if the issue lies with Trakt and the new API or somewhere else. thanks.
CBers 7450 Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Have you read through this thread: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/17179-trakt-v2-api-update/
kolbasz 20 Posted April 22, 2015 Author Posted April 22, 2015 Some of it. Is the beta version mentioned the same as what is in the docker container? If on the right version will trakt be automatic or does it require a special?
kolbasz 20 Posted April 23, 2015 Author Posted April 23, 2015 updated MB docker to latest, this then updated trakt along the way. Trakt still shows episodes as watched 4 times. Not to mention, it marked Avatar as watched last night when that is not the case. For trakt, because I do use kodi, I may elect to move it out from under emby and force it from the kodi player itself since that appears to still work OK.
kolbasz 20 Posted April 24, 2015 Author Posted April 24, 2015 watched a show this morning, reported by trakt as watched 8 times at the same exact time...
mgworek 134 Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 I am also using kodi. if you start using the kodi takt plugin instead and it works, let me know. Thanks
kolbasz 20 Posted April 27, 2015 Author Posted April 27, 2015 (edited) I need to try this ASAP. Aparently I watched Survivor 6 times last night (it was a great episode...?) I will report the results Edited April 27, 2015 by kolbasz
Luke 42077 Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 when this happens check the activity log in the server dashboard, and see if it's there 6 times as well.
kolbasz 20 Posted April 27, 2015 Author Posted April 27, 2015 I think this is of use. From the trello of another issue (resume not working as intended): Possible lead: KodiMonitor.py line 96There seems to be a fault in logic. It proceeds even if the item has no been watched. Also sending the played API action multiple times. Based on your comment @@Luke I am going to assume that it is, but I will look. Can you specify where I am looking. If you have a screenshot, it makes life simple, unless it is in a log. 1
kolbasz 20 Posted April 28, 2015 Author Posted April 28, 2015 @@Luke, I looked at what it showed as recently activity and there it only shows I watched the episode once, or so it seemed anyway. It was not listed 4-6 times in a row. 1
kolbasz 20 Posted April 30, 2015 Author Posted April 30, 2015 (edited) local kodi trakt does not appear to work with this. edit: Maybe it does, a show I watched last night appears as watched on trakt and it is only there once. I also disabled trakt on the server, so this came from the client for sure. It is strange though because it would seem as though not everything scrobbles up to trakt. Once they fix the multiple API call, I assume I will be back to using the server version. Unless of course this is broken because the other issues my kodi has with the .33 emby where it doesnt sync with the server so it thinks the show is unwatched. Edited May 1, 2015 by kolbasz
kolbasz 20 Posted May 6, 2015 Author Posted May 6, 2015 worked through some issues on my server with runtime and the the latest versions and my initial server trakt sync appears successful only showing an episode once. So maybe this is finally corrected, but I will keep an eye on things for now. Thanks for all the hard work fellas! 1
thefirstofthe300 292 Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 I too can confirm that syncing my library with Trakt no longer syncs episodes multiple times. I bet it had to do with the Trakt server issues.
kolbasz 20 Posted May 7, 2015 Author Posted May 7, 2015 Not sure where the issue lies, but I know I have shows I have watched that are not currently synched to trakt. Shows episode 1 and 4, but quite certain I watched episode 2 and 3 as well. Not sure how trakt plugin support works, but can it be set to scrobble after a show completes like the kodi trakt add-on? I have a few shows now that are not showing up being watched, so if there is a trakt server issue I guess we wait, but otherwise there is still, I feel, a trakt plugin issue.
kolbasz 20 Posted May 9, 2015 Author Posted May 9, 2015 @@Luke Do we know who maintains the trakt plugin so it can be updated to support the new "pin" security?
Luke 42077 Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 it is community maintained. Is it broken without supporting the pin?
kolbasz 20 Posted May 9, 2015 Author Posted May 9, 2015 Not sure, only know that the local kodi trakt plug-in updated last night and told me to log in with pin.
kolbasz 20 Posted May 10, 2015 Author Posted May 10, 2015 @@Luke, maybe not since one of my systems I didnt add the pin and it is still working OK
Solution kolbasz 20 Posted May 11, 2015 Author Solution Posted May 11, 2015 Not sure if there was a recent update or what, but today I did notice shows getting scrobbled correctly. Even ones that were missed in the past were appearing, so maybe things got worked out. I will continue to monitor, but as of today, things are working again.
