pmac 143 Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 (edited) Lately I've been getting the "Select Server" screen every time I open MBT, and it displays two choices for my server (I only have one server installed), and both selections take me to the same server/library. Everything seems to work fine still, it's just rather annoying having to select a server every time, as well as having two options for a server, when there should only be one. Also, after checking the log, it seems to be finding two servers for some reason... LOG My local IP is 192.168.2.10, I'm not sure where it's getting 192.168.2.16 from. Is there a way to tell it to just look for localhost, to avoid this issue? Edited February 18, 2015 by pmac
Solution Luke 42077 Posted February 18, 2015 Solution Posted February 18, 2015 Well we don't have the ability to remove a server in the MBT interface yet, so I'm afraid removing it will require uninstalling and reinstalling MBT. This could have happened if you changed your server install at some point. Even though it's the same address, they have their own unique identifiers so MBT still lists the old one. As far as dumping you back to server selection, remember that you need to click Remember Me when logging in to avoid that. 1

I don't want it to remember the user selection, just the server. I'll try reinstalling though, and see if that helps. Thanks
Spaceboy 2573 Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Same here. I must say I've given up reporting problems with mbt until the next big release comes out. No one seems to pay any attention to them 1

TX_Theater 2 Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Is there anyway to select an image for the server...similar to users?? 1

DingDong 0 Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Sorry for the late reply, reinstalling fixed the problem. Thanks @[member="Luke" This did not fix the problem in my case! Uninstalling and re-installing MB server created the problem of multiple server selections...an uninstall and re-install of MBT didn't fix the problem..nor did a new install on a separate machine. All client computers see multiple servers at login.
revengineer 142 Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 +1 one for feature request to remove servers. I have multiple server listed from various test installations. The same happens on the Amazon FireTV app.
Naginreed 0 Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Found a kinda simple workaround without reinstalling. Close Emby Theater Go into the config folder inside your Emby Theater Folder (On Win 8.1/10 = C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Theater\config) and rename the servers.json. (you can delete it too, but in case anything goes wrong) Start Emby Theater (Emby Theater will create a new servers.json)
