MrFlux 7 Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Is there a way in Metadata browser to clear metadata for specific items, or preferably every item under a folder, as opposed to replacing or refreshing the metadata? Reason for this is, I've got a folder with a bunch of family home videos, and quite a lot of these have wrongly identified and pulled in incorrect metadata. For these items, I don't want any metadata, just the filename and preferably an extracted image. At present, I'm having to go through each one (there are a lot) and manually edit out all the metadata, lock it, and delete the image. After that, I can't get the extracted image to show up though. Any ideas anyone?
Solution Beardyname 198 Posted January 16, 2015 Solution Posted January 16, 2015 You could change how the metadata for these files are used, If you set the content type to "Home Videos" it should not try to grab any data at all, just grab a screen (configurable setting). 1
