qusto7 0 Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 I searched the forum, but I have not found such a problem.I use the Media browser 2.6.2.0. I would like to install the Media Browser Classic, but after downloading the setup.exe file and run it, I get the message: You can not run the application. Contact your dealer. Could you help me?
Logos302 86 Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Have you setup the Server yet? If not I would start their. As for the error, try re-downloading setup.exe and do you have .net 4 installed. I believe their is also an install.log that might help diagnose this problem.
qusto7 0 Posted January 16, 2015 Author Posted January 16, 2015 Sorry. I did not write exactly. The problem (file "setup.exe") concerns the Media Server. I have installed version Microsoft.Net Fremework 4.5.2. I uninstalled the old version Media browser 2.6.2.0. I know that the problem is in my computer. I just do not know. A week ago I installed the Server and Classic in my friend's computer and everything was ok. Details of which can be read after the installation error information look. https://www.dropbox.com/s/dmer8f6vepnynsl/NWF6TTBV.log?dl=0 install.log https://www.dropbox.com/s/qp7ct789l8fqxfy/install.log?dl=0

mconroy42 0 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Cannot Install Server or MBT/MBC This fix does not work.... Please find the issue in your install file "setup.exe" (I tried beta also) this worked for me before, I am returning to see if new developments in this software will replace my "PLEX" but your install is flawed....

You'll have to provide more information for us to help. What, exactly, is happening when you try to install? Did you follow all the procedures suggested in the linked document (including deleting the folder it suggested if clearing the cache didn't work)?
John Smith 2015 0 Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 (edited) Hi, I have tried the ClickOnce cache clear suggested (also the folder deletion), but the error is still present. Perhaps some user folders location out of my C: (which is a SSD) is causing this.New Microsoft only technology . I missed the download "stand-Alone" package. However, I will try the Linux approach at this time. Edited February 27, 2015 by John Smith 2015
