somy 25 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Hi, I have home videos collection in MB organized in folders, and I'd like to ask if it is possible to define thumbnail and/or backdrop for each folder in MB? I tried to put folder.jpg, thumbnail.jpg and backdrop.jpg without luck. Thanks in advance!
Maleficarum 68 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Just gave this a test with a root folder added to the library with a content type of home videos. The test movie inside that folder used the images I added correctly, folder.jpg/poster.jpg, backdrop.jpg/fanart.jpg etc 1
ebr 16185 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Yes, that should work but you can also use the web interface to download and upload images. 1
Maleficarum 68 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Indeed. Ionly manually dropped them in as I already had a folder with them in open so was easier than opening a server window
somy 25 Posted January 7, 2015 Author Posted January 7, 2015 Thank you for your help! Hmmm, I can get folder.jpg work but couldn't get fanart.jpg/backdrop.jpg to work. I have multiple files in the same folder, could that be the reason?

I'm not sure if that is correct or just a shortcoming in the new docs. You can try {moviename}-backdrop.jpg and see if that works.

Thank you very much!
