Lost admin access / how to find user names

Long time users. My Emby install has been humming along fine for years. I lost remote connection abilities and while working to troubleshoot (with a newer server UI than I had previously) none of the user accounts I log into thru the webui expose network settings when I access App Settings. Everything I can access is essentially app settings, not server settings.

What I think is happening based on a couple other threads is my exposed accounts are likely not admins, and the admin user is no longer shown on the webui login screen. 

I went through password reset process for what I thought was my admin user name (both lower case and upper case) but each time after entering the PIN it says the user was not found.

So, stupid question time - does my theory sound correct about none of the exposed accounts being admins, or am I missing something obvious?

And if this is what's happening, how can I query a plaintext list of user names? I've run a few queries with LLM help but the most I've been able to recover is the GUIDs.

Hi, try doing a password reset without entering the username. It will reset the password for every single user and it will list the names of the users. Maybe that will help you remember?

Thanks for the quick reply Luke. I was able to find the plaintext user names in a local server backup file, and from there the reset worked properly. All good now.

I clicked on forgot password but nothing happened!!

I have the server and the Port number , username & password but it’s still not working!

Tried to reset the password but nothing happened !!
