connecting to Web Client using MBConnect

Hi Folks,

 

Don't know if it's somethig i've done but I can no longer connect to the web client via the "Web Client" link at the top of the forum page. When I click on it, I am taken to the "Sign In" page. I enter the username and password, press "Sign in" and I am immediately returned to the Sign In page.

If I type app.mediabrowser.tv into  the address bar of Firefox I get a black page with the Web Client library menu at top left, My avatar at top right and a spinning circle in the middle that never goes away.

Any Ideas?

Have you tried to clear your browser cache? Does it work if you try a different browser, like Chrome?

 

Edit: I'm experiencing the same issue in Chrome, ever since I cleared my cache. I will let you know if I manage to solve this. I logged into IE and it worked fine, so it is most likely the browser's cache.

 

Here's the steps I took: I cleared my browser cache and files and restarted the browser. This seems to have solved the redirection to the sign in page. In firefox: advanced > network > cached web content > clear should be the equivalent action.

Thanks Angelblue05. I cleared the cache as described, but when I clicked on the link it took me to the black page again. This time i clicked on my avatar and it gave me the option to select the server, which I did then I got straight in. This is something I didn't try before so it may have worked then also. anyways - I'm in.  Thanks
