In addition, starting with 3.51.2, SQLite introduced changes to the EXISTS-to-JOIN optimization that are directly related to the search query shape and query planner. This could potentially cause negative performance depending on the actual library data.

This makes sense,  I think this is only affecting extremely large libraries as well.  4.11.0.4 beta is fine searching with every app.

 

My question to Luke is why aren't you and your team just promoting full beta's to stable?  instead you guys cherry pick parts of beta to create a build that's not even be tested and tag it "stable".   curious as to why you guys do that when the majority test a beta release.
