New(ish) Emby search by letter feature on AppleTV reveals an LG aspect ratio compromise...

Emby on AppleTV added a search by letter feature this year and I noticed that the letters were cut off partially, which I thought odd, but soldiered on.

I finally came around to exploring this on my LG and found the aspect ratio called "Just Scan" corrected the issue.

It turns out that the 16:9 and other aspect ratio settings cut off part of the image and "Just Scan" accepts the video as broadcast.  I mean, it's been years I've been watching with this setting and I've missed 2+ inches on each side and likely have had some image degradation due to processing.

Who knew?

Others that regularly use AppleTV with LG my have a better response, but I think leaving Just Scan on is the correct setting anyway
