From Beta to Stable?

Is it safe to go from Beta (.31) to Stable (.40 that is the new one)?

Or do I risk to loose it all...

Strange, Downloaded the setup.exe for stable release, looks like it runs normally. But nothings happend.

Both of the setup.exe does nothing for emby server on windows. still on 4.10.0.31
how do I do this manually. if it is that simple.

I run the installer (setup.exe), but nothing gets updated. I'll see it works in the background and download something. But I'm still on .31 beta.

Did you make sure to shut down the server first?

Try that again tomorrow. Even the installer says it is shutting down. Will try manually tomorrow
