New Machine Setup from old

I looked at the using restore page, and I am just curious if there is an easier way?

I have copied the programdata and system folders. I have all my media on external harddrives. They will have the same drive letter on the new system. Is there an easier way to setup Emby on a new machine?

I figured there would be a way to copy/paste the programdata & system folders after installing Emby new, and that would just overwrite all existing info.

Just making sure I make this as easy as possible.

Hi, what do you find difficult about it? Is it just due to the documentation being long (and thorough) ?

Thanks for sending this page. This is actually what I was looking for. I didn't find this page until you just sent it. Interestingly, I wish this manual page was a bit more thorough and literal in its wording. But I think I'm pretty clear on the process. The other page I mentioned earlier was very well written and detailed, but didn't seem to be related to what I was doing.

The help documentation you all provide is excellent. No criticisms here!

To clarify, I only need to restore the programdata folder and not the system folder?

My programdata folder shows an older modified date than system, so I was curious.
