niru86 1 Posted September 10 Posted September 10 To be honest emby worked better on windows 7 then it dose on windows 10 and now they have changed the home screen settings and the problems with having to restart the server because I've made two changes it's becoming unstable and unusable. Even on Roku the live TV doesn't work because it's stuck on schedule and no matter what i do can't fix it even after deleting emby and reinstalling it. (localhost 8096: Object Object) ????? I don't understand what that is. I wish they fix the bugs instead of changing menus and confusing people.
user24 407 Posted September 10 Posted September 10 I don't use Roku and I don't use Live TV, but perhaps if you post in the most relevant forum area then someone else may be able to help? (e.g.) https://emby.media/community/forum/91-roku/ https://emby.media/community/forum/97-live-tv/ Either way, the problem you are having may have nothing to do with the new home screen settings and doesn't seem to be a feature request???
Luke 43115 Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Hi, you generally shouldn't have to restart the server after making settings changes. What makes you think you need to do that? Quote I wish they fix the bugs Hi, what bugs are you referring to? We are happy to help.
Luke 43115 Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Quote Even on Roku the live TV doesn't work because it's stuck on schedule Hi there, what exactly do you mean by stuck on schedule? What exactly makes you think that it's stuck?
niru86 1 Posted September 10 Author Posted September 10 I keep get this message after making two or three changes to settings (localhost 8096: Object Object) On the Roku when i click on TV guide (I set it to start on Guide) but it's on schedule and i can't move to any other options when using the remote control i have to exit the live TV and just not use it.
Luke 43115 Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Is that message on the Roku or the server web interface?

Jmackay82 70 Posted Saturday at 06:44 PM Posted Saturday at 06:44 PM To be fair off all my home devices i have tested the Samsung TV app is the most stable and works perfect. But its part of the fun, the other platforms will get there in time the wrinkles will be ironed out on all platforms. Developers are doing an amazing job and keep pushing forward 1 1
