Playback Freezes With Recorded Programs

Sometimes the playback will stop for 10-20 seconds or it just freezes completely. And sometimes it crashes Emby, meaning it returns to the home screen.

This morning about 8:40 am CST  it froze three times in different places while playing GMA. We started watching from the beginning and while it was still recording GMA. 

I upgraded the QNAP server software a few days ago to version 4.9.5.0, this made no change.

Yes it's playing on a Samsung TV (S95B 65 Inch QD OLED) from a dedicated computer running Windows 10. I also have a Roku connected, so I have Emby on both.

This setup has been running for a couple of years now. My problem has been happening the last 5-6 months and has recently gotten worse.
