Zombie Genre Folders won't go away

So, I have had these "Zombie" genre folders for a few months now.  Movies has "Holiday Movies" and TV Shows has "Series" and "Soap".

There are no titles in any of them and haven't been for quite some time but they will not go away.  I have tried the plugin for Genre Cleaner, but they don't show up in the plugin, either.

Any ideas on how to make these go away for good?
