grimrod42 1 Posted Thursday at 11:27 AM Posted Thursday at 11:27 AM Hello I have recently setup remote access to emby. It works on the browser but not to apps. I have it working with caddy reverse proxy. I have a Premium license. I have tried on an iphone and firetv app, which does not work, error is unreachable. Works perfectly on browsers. Not really sure why its not working. Thank you for any assistance

ebr 16647 Posted Thursday at 01:06 PM Posted Thursday at 01:06 PM Hi. Exactly how are you trying to connect and exactly what happens? Are you entering the address exactly the same as in the browser?
grimrod42 1 Posted Thursday at 01:30 PM Author Posted Thursday at 01:30 PM Hi On an iPhone emby app and a fire tv emby app, using the same url & port it says server unreachable. on a browser on the the iPhone and a computer at the remote location of the fire tv, it is reachable and can login. Research suggested might be a certificate issue with caddy. that the app is more restrictive than the browser, but not sure about that. thank you

grimrod42 1 Posted Thursday at 01:42 PM Author Posted Thursday at 01:42 PM Yes Typing in https://url on web and app
Luke 42923 Posted Thursday at 04:10 PM Posted Thursday at 04:10 PM Are you sure the app is trying to connect with the same port as the browser?
