Transcoding with Synology 425+: Transcode for x25

Dear all,

It is known that the original Synology i915 drivers do NOT support transcoding any more. However, there is a workaround - either to be installed manually or even via the community package center (Package name: Transcode for x25) or via a script. For more information, see Github: https://github.com/007revad/Transcode_for_x25

There is only Plex and Jellyfin mentioned which definitely will use this drivers for transcoding. Does anyone have experience with these drivers and Emby? @ Developers: any comment on that?

The author of the Package confirmed the compatibility of Transcode for x25 with Emby here:

Meanwhile, I can confirm that it works on my 425. Just tried with a movie which is h265 to transcode it to 720p 4Mbit. Without Transcode for x25 installed.: 8-9 fps. After installation: >100 fps.
