Allow text subtitles in the black bar below video on Android TV

I’ve switched to Emby fully now and loving how fast it is!

One thing I miss from my old client is allowing text subtitles to move into the black bar below the video (when video aspect ratio forces black bars above & below).

By default, exoplayer’s SubtitleView restricts text over the video frame only!

Many video players override this to allow fully customisable subtitles position on the entire screen instead of just the video!

There’s already a request to implement this upstream in exoplayer:
