Display performer info in Album pages of Music Libraries

As a Jazz lover I'd love to see Info about which musicians are playing (which instrument) on music albums - or even individual tracks.

Obviously I'm aware jazz is a minority interest these days, but this kind of info appears on the back of every CD I've seen - so I'm sure fans of other genres would also be happy about such a feature.

It occurred to me this is almost (except for the instrument) exactly the same as is provided in Actor listings in Video Libraries, so I would expect much of that code to be re-usable,  except the Info would be scraped from another source - MusikBrainz instead of Imdb.

But please hurry - I'm already 66 this year!

Hi, this is an interesting idea and would definitely be a "nice to have" for all music genres, but it may be difficult to get the data you want, across all your albums???  It seems like popular albums in MusicBrainz have the data, but many others do not.

A couple of ideas if you have the relevant embedded metadata already, in fields that Emby does not currently import:

• Use Mp3tag to bulk copy/append the tags to the Artist field - Emby will then import to Artist field.
• Use Mp3tag to bulk copy the tags to ROONTRACKTAG - Emby will then import to Tag field.

I hate to suggest this in an Emby forum, but have you trialled Roon to see what that does? It's expensive though and can't be greatly customised, which is why I prefer Emby myself. But if you want no fuss implementation, and now, before you turn 76...!!!, could be worth investigating...???
