Best practice for identifying partially played series

Is there a recommended api call to identify series with some played episodes but are not marked as played at a series level?

I was planning on comparing RecursiveUnplayedItemCount to RecursiveItemCount but was wondering if there was a better way to go about this.

Hi, not really. You can filter by unplayed, and you'll get series that have unplayed content, but there's no way to limit that to series that have at least one played episode.

So I would suggest using that as a starting point.
