user24 394 Posted yesterday at 11:58 AM Posted yesterday at 11:58 AM (edited) Hi, perhaps check out the official Emby Music Naming requirements if you haven't already: https://emby.media/support/articles/Music-Naming.html Problems with Albums joining together incorrectly are usually due to incorrect or missing embedded metadata in your audio files themselves. Check your tags for the relevant fields (e.g.) Album and Album Artist, ideally with a tagging application (e.g.) Mp3tag. If you have missing embedded metadata and the audio track files are grouped in the same parent folder that may also cause issues? Do you use MusicBrainz IDs? This could cause incorrect grouping if the tags are inconsistent or incorrect? My guess is you don't have Album Artist field filled in and it is blank???? But it could be something else? Cheers! Luke 42745 Posted yesterday at 07:27 PM Posted yesterday at 07:27 PM Quote it start with "Kyo-L'équilibre" who fuse with "Israel Kamakawiwo'ole-E Ala E" Hi, what makes you think they fuse together?
Swaf 1 Posted 23 hours ago Author Posted 23 hours ago don't know both artist are in separate folder and unique folder for album as i said got not only "kyo" and "israel" it seems every time one album bug is fuse with this one cauz now i got 4 artist in the same album, even if those artists probably never met
Luke 42745 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Can you please show screenshot examples of what you are seeing in emby server so that we can visualize this? Thanks.

Here it is for reference: It does look like that individual Albums are fused together. From the screenshot, the title is one Album, the image is another Album (John Lennon), the Album Artists are several and the Songs/Artists seem to be merged into the one Album. (67 tracks in total - when the Album should only have 22 Tracks. https://musicbrainz.org/release-group/ca43e39c-ccf0-4b88-a409-7e2c8c1528da I guess it should actually look something like this for the Kyo Album: 2 hours ago, Swaf said: don't know both artist are in separate folder and unique folder for album From your Windows/Properties/Details screenshots, it appears that the two example tracks/files have correct embedded metadata for Album Artist / Album / Artist - but I'd recommend to use a dedicated tagging app (Mp3tag or Picard) to see ALL tags for the tracks (e.g. extended tags in Mp3tag). Don't just rely on Windows. Then, also check what Emby is showing for both the individual Albums and the individual Songs in the metadata editor. Not just the Album screen shot - go into the metadata editor (from the 3 dots) and you will see something like this for the albums: Scroll down and check MusicBrainz and Discogs IDs. _______________________________________________________ The tracks metadata should show something like this: Again, scroll down and check everything. If you see obvious errors, it may be possible to correct them - I would make the corrections in the embedded metadata and then rescan into Emby. Don't just change within Emby or a future rescan may re-import incorrect embedded metadata. Also, if you can't see anything obvious - then perhaps try removing all the albums from Emby, rescan your library. Then check the embedded metadata in the albums and add them back into Emby one-by-one. If the errrors return, then you may be able to find the root cause???
Luke 42745 Posted 56 minutes ago Posted 56 minutes ago Quote but I'd recommend to use a dedicated tagging app (Mp3tag or Picard) @Swafyes I would recommend doing this. Your files probably have data embedded in them that you're not aware of. These applications can help get that cleaned up. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks !
