What are people using for Emby requests from their clients? curious is all

Both good choices, decided to take all my crap down and format everything and start fresh from start with a nice debian server to run emby and run dvd backups only. That way I get the best quality and if someone on my server wants a movie they will need to drop off the dvd at my house for me to copy it to my computer

What the heck? I hope when you say DVD you mean UHDBD

SMS message or WhatsApp and I add it manually. I only share access with people I have personal relationships with so they can message me directly if they want something or need tech support. I have friends, not clients.

Turn off your emby server and tell me how many friends you have  jk

You can set it up to use just a remote for firestick if you want 

Most people dont even know this stuff exists can add a movie to emby from your firestick remote, but whatever.

I am working on a couple of plugins for this.

• A chrome plugin, that on Rotten Tomatoes, imdb, themoviedb, and the tvdb, you can send a request via email to me, so I can find the media.
• A complimentary plugin to the first, for the server owner, that on the same sites can search for the current movie/TV show, on a website setup by the server admin.  Im working on getting this working with an executable (such as keepstreams) to get the media.
• An emby plugin, that will allow the user to request a missing episode which I am trying to tie into the current missing episode flow

 

I would love to be able to have an emby plugin that showed all collections a movie was part of.  Showing a ton more collections and movies that are missing.  Then I would extend the emby plugin for missing episodes to missing movies.

I already have a desktop application that will query an emby server and it then searches for the episodes.  If anyone is interested in it, let me know
