So I record the news every day and yep it does work perfect it's awesome but I have it set to convert everything to 8 or else it does strange things but after it converts the size is bigger. Can you make the size smaller after converting please guys, thnx.

Your emby converting tool is a god send and works a treat but the file size gets bigger when I convert a recording it doubles the recording size. If it made the file size smaller would the quality suffer?

It really depends on the input formats vs the output formats. For example hevc can have a smaller file size with the same quality as h264.

It's not a big deal by all means it works perfect it does what I need and I'm happy with the outcome whether the file size is bigger or not. Now that you have explained it I understand it so thank you very much.

Emby just keeps getting better and better.
