I've been using Emby for at nearly 10 years and one day I woke up to install .NET so after 4 weeks of trying to find the solution, I've thought I downloaded it but it still wasn't working. Since then I've switched to Plex and its working great but I'd rather use Emby. I've tried uninstalling and starting from scratch but it won't let me do that as it shows " Cannot Find file" and wouldn't let me uninstall.

Does anyone have the solution, I'm using a Dell PC Inspiron 3020 with 13th generation Intel I5-13400

I'm through with this platform it doesn't work all of a sudden, I've downloaded and installed .NET as it directed me to, but alas I can't get my server to work. Maybe I'll check Jellyfin? I was actually going to buy the lifetime but not now I'll go another route. Best of it won't let me remove what is still in my PC haha

Your EmbyServer installation must have become corrupted in some way. The server uses .net8 and is self-contained, which means it has all the .net stuff it needs on board already. Installing a .net runtime won't help.

You can try uninstall+install again or install without uninstall (as you said you can't remove it).

Please also take a look at the Windows event log and check your antivirus for any events.
