Lg tv web os emby ai upscaling

OLED65G51LW has very good ai upscaling but it doesnt work on lg s emby app.

i even tried OLED65G51LW dlna via native media app. Dlna is from emby. When watching video and try to skip 15 sec or to any time in bar progress the video crashes.

The scaling on the LG tv should be independent of what is on the screen. 

Have you enabled filmmaker mode on the TV? That disables almost all picture processing including any AI and upscaling.

I have cinema picture mode which activates ai up scaling not filmmaker.

OLED65G51LW dlna via native media app ai scaling works GREAT. Dlna is from emby.

But when watching video via native media app from lg tv when i try to skip 15 sec or to any time in bar progress the video crashes. I even used lg tv profile on emby dlna settings. 

I was hoping to use emby app from web os lg tv but with emby app ai upscaling doesnt work

Ok so i found out that for dolby atmos truehd to work you need a streaming device connected to tv so naturally i bought nvidia shiled pro and with it all my problems of ai upscaling and subtitles should go away. I just wanted to check with you if i got this correct.

To play on OLED65G51LW via nvidia shiled pro that has emby app i should configure in emby app settings and turn on Match video resolution

This forces the device to output the  1080p signal over the HDMI cable, allowing the TV's AI processor to perform the upscaling.

And if this wont work i will report a media playback issue.
