What makes you think it's saying no match found for Berbils ?

I read the log line wrong, its the one that follows and the rest for the season that follow that as well.

While you didn't specifically ask me to do anything, or report what you did, I saw the 3.8.6 and tried it.

I saw it says improved logging. 

So I recorded the log and shared it with you 

From what I can tell now, it's not even listing the other episodes of ThunderCats.

Maybe the problem before was the log was false? (Kind of hard to tell if the show isn't watched, Right? And you removed the log).

Does "improved logging" mean you hide the errors?

"V: the final battle" still shows up as unwatched on Emby but watched on Trakt.

 

I'm at my wits end. I reported a problem, it was real. I've continued to follow up to the best of my ability, but you keep asking questions that, if you followed the thread and everything I've reported, look like you're annoyed to be helping while I'm annoyed at the questions you are asking that look like you haven't followed this entire discussion. 

I'm assuming you don't have these specific shows to test on your end, maybe you do, but perhaps engage me a little here so we can solve this together.

Sorry, I think the logging was unclear before so hopefully it is improved now. But I would always suggest starting a specific problem that you're seeing in the user interface rather than looking for one in the log.

I don't think any errors are being hidden. But users very often go looking through the logs and interpret things as errors that are not, so that's why it's better to start with a description of what you're actually seeing in the app.

as I said, you're killing me. What you changed each time is not clear, but I've continued to give examples of various shows with issues. The issues are real. Perhaps there is different reasons for the issues. I'm open minded to it.

I'll repeat myself again. This latest log does not seem to contain ANY of the "failed" episodes that I previousy noted.

.... Most recently I noted Thudercats, I corrected my error about Berbils and I pasted the ENTIRE list of ThunderCats that followed. It right up there, YOU EVEN QUOTED IT.

Today, with 3.8.6, IT DIDNT LIST ANY OF THESE SHOWS OR EPISODES. >.. So, similiarly to "if a tree falls in the forest, did it make a noise?" Because those episodes arent watched, what should I see in the log? Should I see anything? I have up until 3.8.6!!!!!!!

 

 

 

So..... since I have no idea what you did to 3.8.6, and it appears all 1997 failed entries vanished. I picked one that I knew had a problem. One we discussed, to see if it was in the log, and if it was marked watched on Emby, whilst I knew it was watched on Trakt.... Which is, V: The Final Battle. Why did I pick this? Because of the S00E01 vs S01E01 we discussed a few posts back, *I EXPECTED TO SEE AN ERROR* .... but its not there now!

So... I concluded, you removed ***ALL ERROR REPORTS*** for the shows it cant match. If you intended not to, then you goofed.

Yes it has plenty of information around it, including all the content that was in the log file I posted with 3.8.5:

When it said no season match before the log made it sound like some kind of error where it couldn't find the episode on trakt. 

But all it was trying to say was that it wasn't in your trakt watched list.

Those are right. It no longer lists the other episodes in the list, I will watch one or two on Emby and a few more on Kodi, and see if everything sync's up.

... Yes, its not mentioned in the log is why I asked if the "errors" are now removed. I never went looking in the logs until the initial problem I listed, since then I've absolutely looked at the logs. If the previous messages saying no match for show was wrong, well, it'd be great had you said that, but that still begs the questions about V: The Final Battle, which is probably a diff. things. So I will test ThunderCats and let us all know!

 

But in the meantime, you can look at the V: Final Battle issue. Whatever that issue is, I've given you plenty of logs and the tags for IMDB, TVDB, TMDB, TRAKT codes like the previous Emby shared. And this most recent log did NOT say anything about it, not even that it couldnt find it. So thats a problem, whatever it is.

Those are right. It no longer lists the other episodes in the list, I will watch one or two on Emby and a few more on Kodi, and see if everything sync's up.

... Yes, its not mentioned in the log is why I asked if the "errors" are now removed. I never went looking in the logs until the initial problem I listed, since then I've absolutely looked at the logs. If the previous messages saying no match for show was wrong, well, it'd be great had you said that, but that still begs the questions about V: The Final Battle, which is probably a diff. things. So I will test ThunderCats and let us all know!

 

But in the meantime, you can look at the V: Final Battle issue. Whatever that issue is, I've given you plenty of logs and the tags for IMDB, TVDB, TMDB, TRAKT codes like the previous Emby shared. And this most recent log did NOT say anything about it, not even that it couldnt find it. So thats a problem, whatever it is.

What external ids are set in the metadata editor for the show?
