Almost any Android or Roku box will give you better codec support than an app run directly on a Samsung or LG TV.  My recommendation is to buy the TV you want/can afford, but run Emby on something else meant to stream your personal media.  These TVs are really designed to stream movies from services like Netflix, etc which is why they don't support DTS, TrueHD, PGS, etc.

IMO, avoid Samsung TVs as they don't support Dolby Vision.
