CasualChuck 2 Posted Sunday at 07:29 AM Posted Sunday at 07:29 AM My apologies if this isn't the correct place to post this... Using Firefox on Windows with Windows Emby Server version 4.9.5 When switching my movie library between Date Added order and Title order, the switch doesn't apply. The drop-down at the top lists it as being in title order, but I don't get the alphabetical list on the right. If I go back and select Title order again, the list appears and everything is fine. It was definitely more reliable under 4.9.3. I'll add it's not ALL the time, but probably about 1/3 of the time, I have that problem.
Luke 42673 Posted Sunday at 07:20 PM Posted Sunday at 07:20 PM @CasualChuckHi, can you please show us a specific example using screenshots? Thanks !
CasualChuck 2 Posted Sunday at 09:02 PM Author Posted Sunday at 09:02 PM Next time it happens I'll do that - I've been adding a lot so probably in the next couple days I'd hope. 1
CasualChuck 2 Posted Monday at 02:29 AM Author Posted Monday at 02:29 AM (edited) @Luke Opened new tab in Firefox Connected to my Emby web client Clicked on Movies library under My Media Movies was set to Title A-Z and displayed properly. Clicked on sort order and changed to Date Added Clicked on sort order and changed back to Title A-Z Movies now listed in correct order (A-Z), but no "ABCDE...." on right side of the screen (EmbyProblem1.png) Click sort again and select title and the "ABCDE...." now appears but my sort order is Z-A (EmbyProblem2.png) Click sort again and select title and the sort order is restored to A-Z and now I have the "ABCDE...." on the side. Once I've done the above steps, it no longer seemed to have the problem switching between Date Added and Title order but that was just in my testing now. I'll continue to keep an eye on it. Edited Monday at 02:31 AM by CasualChuck slight clarification
Luke 42673 Posted Monday at 05:03 AM Posted Monday at 05:03 AM HI, what version of firefox? I can't reproduce in 153.
CasualChuck 2 Posted Tuesday at 03:22 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 03:22 AM Hmmm... I wonder if that could be a firefox bug... I'm on 151.0.4 with a pending update. Will try to reproduce after update.
CasualChuck 2 Posted Tuesday at 03:30 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 03:30 AM I apologize, perhaps this was a bug in Firefox that was fixed with the Firefox update. I'll post back if I notice it again. After updating, I couldn't reproduce, but I'm playing around a lot changing the sort order frequently, so if I notice it again, I will post. (FWIW, I noticed it shortly after my system upgraded to 4.9.5, I want to say 3-4 weeks ago... I was checking the forums and saw this and since no one else mentioned it, I thought I would, but perhaps I was the unicorn). 1
CasualChuck 2 Posted 36 minutes ago Author Posted 36 minutes ago Just happened again. Firefox version: I loaded a new browser tab with my Emby web client, clicked on the Movies library and the library loaded fine in Date Added order (how I had last looked at it). I then switched to Title order and again, I don't have the "#ABC..." on the right side: Then I changed to Title descending and the "#ABC..." shows up (screen shot not included).
