Clarification Needed: Registered Devices vs Simultaneous Playback

Hi 

I need to understand how many devices can play content at the same time. I have Emby Premiere for 80 devices. Currently, there are only 6 devices actively playing. After that, nobody else can play a channel because a message appears saying that the device limit has been exceeded.

I currently have 61 registered devices. Does that mean that all 61 devices should be able to play a channel at the same time?

That depends solely on your server's capability.

You have likely hit Premiere devices limit, you can check your status on Settings>Emby Premiere tab. 

Is there a limit to Emby Premiere?

Theoretically yes, if your server can handle it. 

Simultaneous playback devices and devices you see in Devices tab have no correlation with Premiere limits, with latter depending only on how many devices used Premiere features within a week, as per above link and:
