What happened to the Android Builds?

Hi Team,

I‘m really enjoying the WMC Beta and the progress made is amazing. 
 

The only thing I am missing are the APKs for Android which were there till some point. 
 

The idea to be able to enjoy my local media in WMC style, still being able to use my streaming services Apps on my Android device is awesome. 
 

Was there an announcement regarding the Android build I missed?

Thought the same, when I checked the releases. There hasn't been an Android release since a long time.

Would one of the devs please answer this question? I’m would love to have the WMC App running on Android TV even as the main Launcher, but can’t find a current build. 
 

Imagine turning on your TV and you are straight in the WMC interface with all your emby Server content. And if you then would have the possibility to pin selected Android TV Apps to an App row in the main WMC menu it would be the perfect experience. 
 

so could someone please confirm that this is still considered for Android TV and when current build will be available again for download. Thanks for the support

The last Android release is here: https://github.com/EmbySupport/Emby.WMC.UI/releases/tag/0.125.0

It is from 2024, but it IS the CURRENT version for Android. 

The reason why there were so many updates for WMC Windows and not for WMC Android is that WMC Windows is built on the new Emby.Client platform and the Android flavor not - yet. 

This will change very soon, though.
