Luke 42734 Posted June 17 Posted June 17 OK this should be resolved in the next update to the Emby Samsung app.

Are you saying I need to sideload a new version that is out now, or is there an update coming? Also what is causing this issue? I've never need it in the 20+ years I've been using EMBY
Luke 42734 Posted June 17 Posted June 17 I think it is an issue in that version of the app. we have already submitted an update to Samsung. You can sideload if you need immediate relief.

Remembering I live in New Zealand and there seems to always be a huge delay with the Samsung store. Please confirm?
FrostByte 5516 Posted June 17 Posted June 17 (edited) Luke will probably have another new one in about a week also as the latest will soon expire. Just check that link he posted for all updates. Edited June 17 by FrostByte

I've got the same release which is almost a year old on my 2018. In the past Luke has had to do a special request for TVs older than 4 years as Samsung stops supporting older models (though the most recent models now get 7 years support). SamES 1116 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago 2.2.8 is still the currently released version. New version is still in testing with Samsung, it's taking them a while this time. There should be an update for 2018 models as well 1

It seems patently stupid for (1) Samsung to be so slow (2) not support anything older than a pint of milk and (3) timebomb apps so we need to keep sideloading this stuff. surely I’m not the only person with this view? simple question - when will anything later than 2.2.8 be available in the Samsung store and can @Lukeor anyone apply some pressure here? (Please)
