Latest Windows client is glitchy with remote navigation

So, I restarted emby Windows client the other day to find a new version must've been installed. All my customized options got reset to default and the theme I was using is gone... Oh, well, price of progress I guess...

Come to find navigating in movies now, after viewing a title then backing out, sometimes the cursor just goes AWOL and you can't navigate anymore in the movies columns, only the menu portion of the screen.

Also, about 1/3 of the time when you first start a show or movie now, the little grey bar from the previous screen is still on the bottom of the window. Easy fix by backing out or hitting home and restarting the playback, but the last version never once did this...

I can't wait to find whatever silly little stuff is now broken or ugly compared to before. a la, the resolution displayed under titles in movies now is 1080x876 for example, instead of just seeing 720p. Minor, but ugly backwards change that's more like the webpage interface and less like a dedicated client app.

Please tell me you guys are actively still fixing bugs and this isn't what we're going to be stuck with now for a while ... I'm really tired of being a beta tester for software companies after I've paid full price.

Also noticed, you can't select "from begining" with remote anymore while playing, now it goes down to a more menu, which is a cool addition, but I use that from begin button pretty often.

HI, what exactly do you mean by can't select it? Did you try using left and right there?

Yes.

Using a remote control. Which I'm pretty sure just mimics keyboard commands.

The now playing button that shows up in the info section under the player controls.

Green thing you can get to via remote, red circled button cannot be accessed by any combination of buttons on the remote.

It's not the remote.
