LordVZlomka 6 Posted June 11 Posted June 11 (edited) Hi, I've searched the forum and found similar requests going back to 2018, but the solution was never implemented. Currently, if you convert a move, for example, with two audio tracks and two subtitles, the audio tracks will retain the language ID, like EN, but not the title. So, it would be undefined [ENG]. As for the subtitles, they are completely gone. So I was wondering, when will the possibility to retain audio titles and subtitles be added? Also, if possible, an option to select specific audio/subtitles to keep if there are more than 2, edit the titles, and set default tracks/subtitles. Edited June 11 by LordVZlomka

LordVZlomka 6 Posted June 13 Author Posted June 13 (edited) Forgot to add the image for the original; it shows the titles before conversion for the audio track 1st image: after conversion, subtitles are not showing up, and RU audio has no title 2nd image: original file, RU subtitles show up, and have a title 3rd image: original file, RU audio has a title Edited June 13 by LordVZlomka
Luke 42596 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago @LordVZlomkaThese subtitles are PGS. This is not something that is saved externally by the conversion process. PGS is also not a streaming friendly format, which the conversion process is targeting. If the PGS subtitles match your subtitle preferences, then they will be burned into the converted video. Otherwise, they will be dropped. Try instead converting a video that uses plain text subtitles such as subrip or srt and you will see that they will all be preserved in the converted version.
LordVZlomka 6 Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago My media is mixed, thats why I was really intrested in the conversion method. I was hoping it could convert it to the friendly format, if not, the feature is useless unfortunately for me
