Eigeplackter 109 Posted June 4 Posted June 4 Okay with "Date added" I get a recently added badge now, after applying the extra settings. But I dont have "Release Date" in my collection metadata editor to use your intended approach.

polaris70 21 Posted June 8 Posted June 8 Hi there, that's a great idea. This will be used as the completion marker for a television series. Could you add it to the Emby catalog. Thanks. 1

Custom Studio Logos — Option to upload PNG logos for any unlisted studio; supports tint, size, and priority controls. EmbyNewOverlay.dll Edited June 9 by Amanade3 1
Amanade3 61 Posted June 9 Author Posted June 9 Here are some tips on custom studio logos Naming Check your Emby item's studio metadata first - go to an item → Edit metadata → Studios and note the exact string. Your studio name must match that (case-insensitive match is done server-side) If a studio has multiple names in your library (e.g. HBO vs Home Box Office), you'd need separate PNGs for each variant or clean up your metadata to be consistent Priority Each custom logo has a Priority field (1–99, default 50). If an item's studio list matches more than one logo, the higher priority wins Built-in logos (Netflix, Disney+, etc.) also compete — set your custom logo priority above 50 to override a built-in if the studio name overlaps Tint The Tint colour column only does anything when "Tint to colour" is checked globally on the Studio Logos tab Use clear PNG with punched out texts for best results Use "Magic Tint" to automatically picks either white or black as the tint colour based on the brightness of the poster corner where the logo will be placed. Magic Tint overrides the per-studio manual colour pickers when active. Try it and tell me how it goes for you on custom studio logos. examples of good and bad logo for tinting example logo 1 GOOD one abc a clear png logo with the abc text are punched out so when tinted the text and logo are shown clearly example logo 2 a plain circle logo with abc written over it, tinting shows a solid white circle 1 1
Amanade3 61 Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Release Notes Version 1.3.1.0 Added integration support for QbitStrm (in-development qBittorrent-to-Emby plugin) Added integration support for Emby Expiry Manager (in-development plugin that removes items from your Emby library on a scheduled time) Edited 44 minutes ago by Amanade3
Amanade3 61 Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Here is a sneak peak of the upcoming new plugin projects QbitStrm. QbitStrm is an in-development plugin that bridges qBittorrent and Emby It watches your downloads and automatically turns unfinished torrents into .strm files so Emby can display them as upcoming titles. Completed downloaded movies and shows show up in your library without manual copying or waiting on a full file transfer, also you can set premiere date to make them available to watch. Features Premiere countdown badges — see at a glance when a scheduled title will unlock * "Upcoming" badge with progress — incomplete torrents show live download progress right on the poster * Graceful placeholder playback — custom, user-set videos play for upcoming/incomplete titles YouTube-style premiere notification — premiering items play their backdrop with the premiere date burned in, until the real content is ready. * requires emby new overlay version 1.3.1.0. Amanade3 61 Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Emby Expiry Manager Emby Expiry Manager is an in-development plugin that tracks items (movie, shows or episodes) in your library and automatically removes them once their time is up (set by user) — handy for content management if you have limited storage or things you want to host temporarily. "Leaving" badges — items show a countdown badge on posters and thumb image ("Leaving tomorrow," "Leaving in 6d," etc.), so viewers know at a glance how much longer something will be available.* Automatic removal — once an item's time is up, it's pulled from the library on schedule, no manual cleanup needed * requires emby new overlay version 1.3.1.0. Sorry, but we cannot allow this one even outside of the catalog. Thanks

I will stick with the emby expiry plugin then... I thought it is okay to integrate emby with qbittorrent client since there are some legal apps like arr's ( radarr, sonarr ) use emby and integrate it with their apps.
