TV-Show, Episode is divided into 2 files

Hello,

I have a episode which is divided into 2 files. The filenames are:

• Detektiv Conan (1996) - S03E22 - Meisterdieb 1412 Part 1.ts
• Detektiv Conan (1996) - S03E22 - Meisterdieb 1412 Part 2.ts

In Android TV-App I can play only the first file because "additional Parts" is missing. In the normal Android- App and in Webbrowser I see "additional Parts".

It is wierd because of "2026-05-23 08:37:12.173 Debug App: Found extra AdditionalPart /volume1/serien/Detektiv Conan (1996)/Season 03/Detektiv Conan (1996) - S03E22 - Meisterdieb 1412 Part 2.ts for /volume1/serien/Detektiv Conan (1996)/Season 03/Detektiv Conan (1996) - S03E22 - Meisterdieb 1412 Part 1.ts"

I hope you can reproduce this issue.

 

I am using the following Hardware/ Software
Synology NAS DS218+. DSM 7.3.2-86009
 

Emby-Server 4.10.10.11

Thomson Google TV Streaming Box, Android 14

enby Android TV-Version: 2.1.23g

emby Android Version: 3.5.16

Hi.  Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?

As I told before, the normal Android App is working fine. I will do additional tests in the afternoon

It simply isn't implemented in the TV-only app (although, the second part should play after the first if you play it).  If you need direct access to it, then you can use the standard app.

Unfortunately, the second part does not play automatically.

Hi, we haven't implemented this yet. We will get there, but for the best experience possible we recommend joining the files.

I don't want to merge the files. If I want to watch a movie or episode like that, I will use the normal app.
