Emby not seeing .ass subtitle files

I've confirmed that the filenames are exactly the same, and I've even made a copy to finish with (English) but it's not showing an option.

I've re-searched the library, disabled extraction on the fly, and still have no luck.

I've tried everything the internet has sent me down, and nothing has worked.

Hi, what exactly makes you think that Emby is not seeing it?

Install the Diagnostic plugin and you will get an additional Subtitles Options menu. Change the delivery preference to Burning in the subtitles. This should solve your .ass issues with anime.

That is purely coincidental. The option actually does nothing and needs to be removed from that screen.

The answer most likely is that if you add a new subtitle file, the server needs to scan it in before you can use it.
