How is Emby support for MakeMKV Folder Backup today?

The only info I find on Emby support for MakeMKV's folder backup playback is from years ago. Is it still an unsupported experimental feature? Is it robust now?

 

Ripping discs, editing metadata, figuring out all the special features...it's just a lot of time. And it's harder to find the time for the "work" side of the hobby. I was thinking if the MakeMKV folder backup might be a shortcut to have that experience?

Hi, it is largely the same as it always has been. We still recommend converting to mkv.
