Recently added files not shown as "recently added"

Hi there

I am using Emby in a container on my TrueNAS Scale server, running Emby version 4.9.4.1.
When I add new media, it is not displayed.

The reason seems to be that Emby does not look at the date when I added the files, but instead at the file system’s creation date. This leads to older media not being shown as “recently added” when they are added later. If I manually change the filedate before, it works.

Is this a bug or a feature? In my opinion, Emby should use the point in time when the files were recognized and added as “new” by Emby.

Settings>"Library" tab in the sidebar>"Advanced" tab on top>"Date added behavior..."

(as with any other change, it applies only to new content added, going forwards)
