Kyouma 12 Posted Sunday at 10:33 PM Posted Sunday at 10:33 PM (edited) Hello, I installed the AniList Plugin to get the AniList ID (nothing else). Then refreshed the metadata and chose the option "search for missing metadata". And somehow this triggered it to replace the Title for example "Cosmic Princess Kaguya! (2026)" with the Title embedded into the Video which would be "Netflix" in this example. Spoiler Spoiler I have attatched the log. What may have caused this and how can i prevent it? I only want to get the AniList ID. Also, is there a way to revert this, without editing everything manually? embyserver.txt Edited Sunday at 10:36 PM by Kyouma
Happy2Play 9814 Posted yesterday at 02:52 AM Posted yesterday at 02:52 AM What is your library setting for this option? But really have no way of seeing what the api is returning without testing myself.
Kyouma 12 Posted yesterday at 08:01 AM Author Posted yesterday at 08:01 AM It is enabled. But it should not take effect i assume? The first import of this movie it got the correct title from the metadata service. And choosing search for missing metadata shouldn't replace something which was already there or am I mistaken on this? Also just to clarify, this only happened to items with an embedded title.
Luke 42260 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago This is a tricky case because items always have names, therefore the missing metadata refresh ignores whether it currently has a name or not. What I would suggest doing is locking the name field for these.
Kyouma 12 Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago Yeah, i will be doing that and also disable that Option. Try to get the AniList ID through the api.
