Using Windows Emby app downloaded from Microsoft Store.

Downloading contents using iOS and Android have no issues and it start downloading straight away.

Only Windows Emby app, itstuck at Ready to Transfer. Saw the log there's an error on downloading. Not sure why is there an error. Tried BITS Manager and there's no other queue before this.

Please help.

I was trying to download a video from the Windows Emby app into my computer.

Clicked download and choose original and it just stuck at Ready to Transfer. Tried using admin and non admin account and it is still the same.

Hi. I've updated the app via Microsoft Store app and the issue is still there. Still stuck at Ready to Transfer. Windows app version is 2.317.2.0

How to fix it?

Hi, try deleting your existing queued downloads and then after that try downloading something new.

There are no queue pending and I’ve tried downloading something. Still stuck with same issue.

iOS emby app download straight away and i can see progress bar showing “Downloading 1 of 1”. Even when the download is still in progress, I can see the main cover art of the tv show that I’m downloading. Under My Media - Downloads. Windows emby app don’t show it at all while under “Ready to Transfer” and it will have a TV folder with nothing in it even when there’s no queue and no offline files at all.

So windows emby app still stuck at ready to transfer. Another issue on windows Emby app is the settings of Downloads. Under Music download quality, no mater what I change to, it revert back to 320K.

hey I was just having this problem. Removing all the "ready to transfer" files and re-downloading them seemed to work for me. Thanks!

May I know how long do you have to wait after you click download then the progress bar starts showing the download progress on the Windows app under Settings - Downloads?

I see exactly the same thing with it stuck on Ready To Transfer.  It creates the target folder on the client but never downloads.  If I choose to convert it before downloading it even gets through that step it is the download that never starts.

I am on a ARM processor if that makes any difference (and on the latest version of the app from the store).  It actually works fine on my X64 CPU - which is of little use to me as I can't take my desktop PC on the airplane!.   It also works fine on my Android devices.   I also see the same thing with the music download setting reverting to 320K no matter what I select (but I see this on the X64 version also).
