Babatom 11 Posted March 4 Posted March 4 When I enable Dolby Atmos in the settings of my Apple TV 4K 3rd generation, I no longer get sound in Emby. It works with all other apps. Is this possibly a bug in the Emby app?
Luke 42226 Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
TheLivingBubba 5 Posted Thursday at 06:55 PM Posted Thursday at 06:55 PM (edited) @LukeI am also experiencing the same problem. I just got a new tv and have it hooked up to a Sonos Arc soundbar using dolby atmos. Plex, Sling, Youtube, have sound, EMBY does not. I have attached logs, please let me know if there is something else you need. Apple tv 26.4 running Emby Version 2.0.3 (2) Fails to play audio from live tv and server media. embyserver.txt Edited Thursday at 06:56 PM by TheLivingBubba added details

LqHnyBear 24 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I'm having exact same issue and can confirm as of iOS 26.4 no audio on any video no matter the format. I switched from auto player to native but that is buggy locking up after pausing a video or randomly the app locks up at the end of shorter tv shows for no reason. I have since gone back to auto and turned off "Continuous Audio Connection" and the problems went away. 1
