can't read menus selection while using dark theme

hi everything is in the title. while using the dark theme item selection is fully white exept for the parameters section

When designing a theme, it's good practice to make sure text colors are far enough away from highlight colors.  There is actually a site that compares colors and shows, if a color text on a background is good enough contrast for web.

I checked,  The current color combo fails.

It should be changed.  Contrast ratio should be => 3 to pass.

On the tester page, click on the color circle left or right on the page to change the background or text colors.

Also, odd that one selection works and the next one disappears.  Hmmm, some annoying css style detail.  They always crop up.
