custom recording - add/create recording in wrong place?

It seems like the "Add Recording" command or ("Create Recording" in the dialog ) would be more natural or intuitive to be on Schedule tab of the Live TV library.  Recordings is past tense so I wouldn't think to look there, and the Schedule tab shows what is not yet recorded - I need to schedule a recording.

 

Also, It would be helpful to show the channel #s in the Channel drop list:
