NeverExists 21 Posted February 1 Posted February 1 (edited) Everything was working fine till a few hours ago. Something must have changed cause this morning everything was working fine. Now anytime I try to play something with ass subtitles, it says there is no compatible streams. The same file played fine this morning. embyserver.txt ffmpeg-transcode-fccb10c9-3c32-4d67-a901-f7aad9c02ae8_1.txt ffmpeg-transcode-172919c9-362a-4d20-852a-7c06d9c518fb_1.txt Edited February 1 by NeverExists

Solution Luke 42077 Posted February 1 Solution Posted February 1 Hi, did you disable on the fly subtitle extraction in server transcoding settings? I would try turning that back on.

NeverExists 21 Posted February 1 Author Posted February 1 I tried 3 different apps, one on my TV, one through the web and one on my phone and they all give an error, or play without the ass subtitles even though they are selected.

I built a MKV yesterday that has ASS subtitles. I tried it just now and the subs played fine on my AndroidTV Emby client.

Both emby and my media player had an update at the same time. 1
