dako5004 1 Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Hello, on my Synology NAS, I have installed emby via the GUI and have been able to integrate all my movie files. But I do not succeed in integrating my music files. When adding a music library and trying to choose the folder where the music files are (/volume1/@appdata/ContainerManager/all_shares/music), the folder is displayed, but when I click on it, I can not mark it. When I type the folder by hand, emby cannot find any files, at least none are displayed. That's strange to me, because on several devices as my smart tv, my mobile phone and so on, I can pick files (eg. in VLC) and play them. The music folder on my NAS is organized as it should be: music/band/album/musicfiles. There are mp3 and ogg files. I think the ogg files should not prevent emby from displaying the mp3 files, basically. I was wondering if there is a problem with typing (the first folder that was displayed, was named "... but alive" and I thought that perhaps the three dots could be a problem, but when I cut the folder from the NAS (and store it on my HDD), emby still neither is able to find any music files nor can I click the folder when creating the music library. Is there a (at least for me) hidden procedure to add a music library and music files? As I was not able to find a solution for my problem in the forum so far (and not via google), any help would be appreciated. Kind regards Daniel

Which I still find strange as I did not have to change any permissions on the movie folder (it was already set to read only for emby and this worked like a charm), but on the music folder... Thanks and kind regards Daniel 1
